A lovely hillside Villa, situated on three levels, with views of vineyards, valleys and collines overlooking the beautiful medieval Maure village of Plan De La Tour, (approx. 850mts from the shops and the centre of the village). Terraces spanning the length of villa on all the three levels for provencal style ‘Alfresco’ dining, overlooking the pool, beside fig and pear trees on one side and mature firs on the other, with floodlit rock-garden and a pool side summer kitchen, shower rooms and toilets. (8m x 4m) pool lit by projector lights for evening parties.

Under 10 minutes from St. Maxim and only 20 minutes from glamorous St Tropez and famous 18 hole Beauvallon Golf Club. There are excellent tennis clubs nearby with equestrian centres within the hameaus surrounding Plan De La Tour. A walk to Cafe De Post and the village shops through the avenues lined with plane trees on both sides offer a truly memorable French experience. Tranquil Alfresco living in summer, with abundant restaurants all within walking range and Michelin star restaurants of St Tropez, St. Maxim and Grimaud nearby. About Plan De La Tour in Var, Provence - Cote d'Azur

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region: Renowned for coastal towns dotted along the Azure coastline forming ‘The French Riviera’ and its mild climate, the Var region is one of the most famous, sought after destinations for visitors to France. It includes Saint Tropez, Sainte Maxime and several charming inland villages such as Le Garde Freinet, Plan De La Tour, La Croix Valmer and Gassin.

• This region has so much to offer, from exquisite food, superb countryside and stunning beaches, to a wide range of sporting, watersports and Equestrian activities. The bay of St Tropez has it all: from rustic markets to glamorous beaches and buzz of International celebrities to tranquil, serene surroundings offering excellent walks along the coastal bays and hills, the region provides for every vacation style.

• The Gulf of Saint-Tropez / Plan De La Tour area. Nestled in the heart af the Maures Mountains and bordering the Gulf of St. Tropez, Le Plan De La Tour has maintained its medieval character. The village is very appealing with its paved and flowered plane tree lined streets winding about all the way from the old church to the Mairie in the centre of the village. While exploring the village you will see beautiful old houses that have been superbly renovated and the villas that have sprung up in the Hameaus surrounding the village.
• Plan De La Tour sits on the plains by the hillside of the Maure region in the midst of fabulous views. Further down to the coast, one can visit Port Grimaud, the little Venice imagined by François Spoerry. Located just a few kilometres from ‘Romarins’, It is worth a visit to the local wine cooperatives (Vignerons de Plan De La Tour) to taste the famous rosé and wines at unbelievable prices and of course the local fleamarket on Thursdays and Sundays where you can get anything but a bargain.

Around:

• The famous St. Tropez market is a must and you can 'people watch and celebrity spot' whilst sitting at one of the many port side cafes or brasseries. There is the Nualage or big ships race in October, the Bravades, The Film Festival in Cannes, the famous 'Corniches' and Monaco Grand Prix in May, all just 1 hour away, and many summer Festivals. For those wanting to avoid summer traffic jams St. Tropez is an easy 15 minutes boatride from Ste. Maxim.
• The Chestnut Fair is celebrated in La Garde Freinet in October whilst Christmas in St. Tropez is a delight with the silver lights threaded through the plane trees in the Place des Lices. Nearby Cogolin, Ste. Maxime, La Croix Valmer and medieval village church of Gassin (Mick Jagger and Bianca were married there) or as far as Eze and Nice with markets of Ventimiglia in Italy are within reach by car or boat immediately across the border.
