'Sainte Maxime' A Delightful Cottage in the Bay of St. Tropez

St. Tropez Bay - a delightful cottage recently renovated yet originally built around 1850 in the charming seaside town of Sainte Maxime. Situated in the old town behind the Church and close to the harbour, where there is a regular 15min ferry ride to the world famous St. Tropez.

Sainte Maxime Cottage is a two bedroom, two bathroom, three storey cottage in the heart of the old town.

  • Open plan living / dining area and kitchenette on the ground floor.
  • A twin bedroom with walk in wardrobe and separate bathroom on the first floor.
  • Second floor master bedroom with en suite shower room and balcony, offering views across the bay of St. Tropez.

About Ste Maxime in Var, Provence - Cote d'Azur

Sainte Maxime Cottage is situated in a quiet cul de sac in the heart of the old town, behind the Church and close to the harbour.

The beach, harbour, shops, restaurants and the regular ferry to St. Tropez, are all within a few minutes walking distance. The town has its own casino, daily and weekly markets plus supermarkets and a water park with tree adventure land.

How To Get To Ste Maxime in Var, South of France and the Riviera

The cottage is easy to find from Ste. Maxime port  -  straight across the road and up behind the church to the right.

Approx. 50 miles west of Nice airport and 50 miles east of Marseille. About ten miles off the A8 autoroute leaving at the Le Muy exit. Signposted - St. Tropez.

There is a bus and train service from Nice to St. Raphael where you need to change to a St. Tropez bus or take a taxi for 60euros. Get off at the bus stop outside the Church.Total journey time around two hours. Alternatively rent a car from Nice Airport  -  Avis / Europcar / Hetrtz.

A taxi from Nice can cost 250euros!!

Free parking is available in some adjoining streets but can be difficult in Summer.

Parking always available in the Port Car Park at 40euros per week. ( 200m from the cottage) Visit the port parking office for advance payment, open 7days a week. 8am to 8pm
