Cosy Self Catering Cottage in Normandy

Located near the peaceful and rural village of La Chapelle Cécelin: within close proximity to very good local restaurants and within walking distance of an excellent boulangerie (about 1km).

It is the perfect base for visiting all of Normandy and Brittany's attractions. Villedieu les Poëles famous for copper and pewter utensils is only 7km. The lovely fishing port of Granville, birthplace of Christian Dior, with its beautiful sandy beaches is within easy reach.

Approached down a long drive, set in 3/4 acre of garden with large patio area with plenty of seating, loungers and barbecue and a lovely view over open countryside - perfect for relaxing.

All rooms have been sympathetically restored and decorated with character, but with all the convenience of today’s modern living.

A cot and high chair are available for all the properties at no extra cost.  A cot mattress is provided but you must bring your own cot linen.

About La Chapelle Cecelin in Manche, Normandy

This property is in its own garden surrounded by farmland, close to a small village La Chapelle Cécelin which is about 7 kilometres from the medieval town of Villedieu les Poeles. The coast is within easy reach as are the pretty towns of Avranches and Granville.

Granville (about 30kms away) has many delightful restaurants specialising in local seafood whilst St. Malo really caters for the tourist in a big way and has many historical places of interest to visit together with other attractions such as the sea life aquarium. Closer, is Avranches, which has a fine cathedral and some beautifully kept ornamental gardens overlooking Le Mont St. Michel.

Further afield there is Bayeux which has fascinating historical exhibits including the famous Bayeux Tapestry.

How To Get To La Chapelle Cecelin in Manche, North West France

  • A cleaning and breakage deposit of UK £100 is required. This will be returned to you within 14 days of the end of your stay providing that the property and its contents have been left in an acceptable condition.
