The property is a beautiful, detached, bunglaow style villa with private swimming pool and spacious, well maintained gardens which are completely enclosed and private. Situated on the edge of the pretty village of Ladignac le Long, the property is set back from a quiet road on a raised plot commanding magnificent panoramic views of the open rolling countryside

The villa is situated on the edge of a pretty village and has the benefit of being on one level. The property, which is set back from a quiet road, has a long driveway leading to a raised plot commanding magnificent views of the open rolling countryside.

The gardens are enclosed and not overlooked so you can enjoy your relaxing holiday in France in complete privacy. The villa has a lovely poolside area with decked terrace around the 10 x 5 metre 1.2-1.6 depth swimming pool which has a security cover and alarm. There is a large covered terrace area on two sides of the villa with seating for 12 persons with a built-in barbecue – perfect for outside dining and the place to be whilst watching the sunset and enjoying a glass of wine. Double garage and utility room.

Inside the villa

The entrance hall gives access to all rooms: 

• Sitting/dining room has leather sofas, armchair, open log fire, TV hi-fi, dining table and chairs for 6 persons and lovely views from the enormous sliding patio windows (with electric shutters and electric awning).
• There are French windows in all main rooms, leading onto front and rear terraces.
• Fitted kitchen/diner plus further table and seating for 4 persons, with dishwasher, microwave, built-in fridge.
• The corridor leads to bedroom 1: double bed and single bed.
• Bedroom 2: Master Bedroom has a luxury king sized bed with twin adjustable remote controlled, memory foam mattresses. 
• Bedroom 3: double bed with washbasin.
• Bedroom 4: 2 singles and folding bed, washbasin.
• Bathroom with shower cubicle.
• Separate WC.
• Stairs lead down to the garage and utility room with freezer, additional large fridge, sink, washing machine, tumble drier and another separate WC.
• Cot, highchair and baby gate are all available on request.

About Ladignac Le Long in Haute-Vienne, Limousin

The villa is situated within walking distance to the small town of Ladignac le Long which has 1,101 inhabitants and is located in the North West corner of the Dordogne in the Haute Vienne. Discover the Romanesque 12th century church, and its statues from the 17th and 18th century. Ladignac also boasts a miniature leisure resort on the banks of the lake with a small beach and swimming area - watched by lifeguards in July and August. There are also tennis courts, a playground for children, a climbing wall and picnic tables. You also have the possibility of discovering the flora and fauna of Ladignac with the designated track around the town. The walk lasts two hours and covers 5km.

Within a 15 minute drive from the villa is the pretty market town of Saint Yrieix la Perche where you will find a large selection of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, banks. The villa is ideally placed for visits to prehistoric sites, grand chateaux, vineyards or to the historic city of Limoges – world famous for its porcelain. With easy access to neighbouring Dordogne - you can enjoy interesting days out and discover the beautiful rolling countryside with medieval villages and the quiet country lanes make walking, cycling or driving a pleasure.

How To Get To Ladignac Le Long in Haute-Vienne, Central France

The villa is situated within half an hours drive from Limoges aiport. The cheap travel companies Ryanair operates from: East Midlands, Liverpool, London Stansted, Bristol and Leeds, Bradford aiports. Flybe from: Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Guernsey, Jersey, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton airports.
