• There is a smaller cottage in the grounds used for storage, which has a lovely garden area.
• The whole property is set in a farm courtyard surrounded by fields.

About Scrignac in Finistère, Brittany

The property is situated in the village of Scrignac, common Armorica Regional Nature Park, 15 min from the market town of Huelgoat (legendary forest) with beautiful lake and historic stones. 25 mins from the stunning viaduct  market town of Morlaix, with its scenic route to the seaside town of Carentec.

The varied and attractive coast of Brittany is easily accessed from the property via Plestin Les Greves, with other beaches such as Locquirec only 30km, going west the drive to Le Faou is approximately 45 mins away. The beaches are clean, safe and uncrowded.There are plenty of activities for families, with bowling at Morlaix, golf at Carentec, swimming at Carhaix and an outdoor swimming pool at Huelgoat, open in the summer months.

There are plenty of restaurants and creperies to choose from in the area. Scrignac has a superb restaurant only a few mins walk from the house. There are also many supermarket/hypermarkets a short drive away.

How To Get To Scrignac in Finistère, North West France

The nearest ports to the property from England to France are: Roscoff (one hour drive) St Malo (two hours) Caan (4 hours) both served by Brittany Ferries and LD Lines. The roads are excellent, often quiet.

The nearest airport is Brest. A car is essential. Scrignac is in north/central Brittany on the D42 off the N12, signposted at the N12 for Guerlesquin/Plesin Les Greves.
