Self Catering Medieval Terrace House in Vibrant Languedoc Town

Le Marin is a carefully restored medieval terrace house originally inhabited by monks in the middle ages. This character rental has been set up to provide self catering comfortable but modest accommodation while retaining the atmousphere of yester-year.

Le Marin is situated in a quiet street in the centre of a vibrant Languedoc town with all amenities and attractions a short walk away.

Holiday Accommodation at 'Le Marin'

The accommodation is arranged over 3 levels joined by a semi-spiral staircase and comprises:

Ground Floor

  • Sitting room modest in size with a fold out sofa bed. Cool relaxing spot in the hot summer months
  • Shower room
  • Separate WC with wash hand basin

First Floor

  • Kitchen / dining room area - has self catering facilities, music and a wood burning stove to sit next to with a glass of port on the cooler evenings. Large windows look out onto the street with only limited pedestrian traffic.

Second Floor

  • Double bedroom shuttered and quiet. Perfect spot after that long lunch in the square.

About St Chinian in Hérault, Languedoc Roussillon

Le Marin is situated in the heart of St Chinian with bars, cafes, shops, delicatessens, patisseries and a convenience store within a 300 meter radius. St Chinian is one of the most picturesque towns in the Languedoc. Centrally located, the area offers many sights, festivals and activities.

Sample some quality wines from over 100 local domains or spend a day at the beach or river. Take a picnic up into the rugged 'Garrigue' or seek your holy Grail in the remains of the Knights Templar and Cathar Castles.
