Holiday Accommodation at Maison de Charme

The cottage offers total privacy and is located in the heart of nature. The park is secluded in a green protected area, which makes the spot exceptional and rare. No neighbour in the distance. Absolute quietness, calm and a peaceful retreat.

The 18th century house sleeps 12 in 6 bedrooms and in an additional mezzanine.

Your every comfort has been ensured throughout this property. The cottage has been designed on a grand level to achieve a really modern luxurious living space, combining period features, antique, timberwork, masons art design with brand new technology including wide screens, wi-fi, satellite TV, UK, German, Japanese, US channels (500 international channels), spa tub, DVD player and state of the art kitchen facilities.

Every room is a jewel: 6 bedrooms each with an individual personality, a Japanese bathroom built in a wooden tower, a loft studio with a soapstone fireplace, a master bedroom with its own terrace and a master living room with a bearned fireplace, huge sofas with plenty of cushions. There is a charming countryside kitchen with its large wooden banquet table.

Outside

Outside stands a swimming pool, surrounded by multiple teak terraces. There are several other terraces around the property including one at the back of the house (East sunset). People can enjoy various secluded spots around the house, with privacy, to sit and read, rest and meditate, lie down and have a nap...in a word: enjoy. All outdoor equipment is available, outdoor furniture, barbecue, tables, sunbeds, parasol, chairs.  Spectacular private forest with view of the Pyrenees and countryside. If you are lucky and like waking up early, you will see deers in the garden.

The property is located in beautiful Bearn, vineyards countryside, next to PAU

The Atlantic Ocean about 1h 20 minutes by car: Bayonne, Biarritz and Spain San Sebastian.

Also you can access the Landes Coastal line, immense pine trees forest: Hossegor and Mimizan.
The motorway (Pau Peage) is about 20/25 minutes from the house. Easy driving on a fluid road.

Golf - You access the Golf of Pau in about a 40 minutes drive. The oldest course in Europe! A real legend set up by Britons. Worldwide golf players come every year to practise, as a real pilgrimage for the experts.

Skiing - Every week day on the slopes. You are spoilt for choice. Hautes Pyrénées (Lourdes, Luz Ardiden, Gavarnie, Barèges) is 45 minutes by car. Or at equal distance, Pyrénées Atlantiques (Gourette ski resort) and Lourdes for a pilgrimage is round the corner. This location is a treat and a life privilege....on Saturday you could be skiing (alpine or countryski)..the next day you can be sitting and enjoying sea food facing the Ocean in Biarritz.
