This charming, stone-built family house dates back to the 19th century and is nestled within an orchard of apple trees. It is a traditional Languedoc home and the perfect base from which to explore the Petite Camargue and enjoy the laidback lifestyle of the south of France.

Holiday Accommodation at La Maison de Farniente

La Maison de Farniente is one of a number of buildings that make up this former wine estate. It was renovated and decorated in 2004 in a style that marries its natural charm with 21st century comfort.

Light and south facing, this characterful property has 110 square metres (1184 square feet) of living space and sleeps a maximum of six. At the front of the house is a private garden with its own
30-metre (approx. 100-foot) swimming pool, which is used only by the occupants of the house. Both the garden and pool are regularly maintained.

About Lansargues in Hérault, Languedoc Roussillon

Mudaison is a small village of 2,500 inhabitants, situated on the edge of the Petite Camargue, between apple orchards and manades (bull farms).
The Maison de Farniente is 400 meters (five minutes' walk) from the village centre, where there are a number of small shops (bakery, mini-supermarket, pharmacy, newsagent/tobacconists). A food market is held in the village twice a week.

Montpellier, Nimes and the Mediterranean beaches are around 20 minutes by car.

How To Get To Lansargues in Hérault, South of France and the Riviera

From the A9 exit Baillargues follow the signs to golf de Massane and then Mudaison. Once in the village at the church, take rue des lavoirs (on your left), then follow chemin de perdrix. You will see a mas (farm house) 400m away from the church.
