Set in a quiet residential area near the centre of the coastal town of St Jean de Monts, this spacious villa offers comfortable family accommodation with town amenities within a 5 minute walk – bakery, grocery, shops, bars, restaurants, covered market etc. The superb sandy beach of St Jean de Monts is at just 1 mile, so is within easy cycling distance, as are numerous forest cycle trails and many holiday facilities for the children.

Further afield, the coast extends, uninterrupted, to north and south with miles of sand, pine forests and dunes, including several good surfing spots.

Holiday Accommodation at Le Clos St Jean

Le Clos St Jean benefits from a private heated pool, in attractive gardens (fully enclosed), a nicely decorated colourful interior and off-road parking.

Three rental formats to suit all group sizes (see the accommodation details below):

  • Full configuration, sleeping 10, including a self-contained annex suite – available all dates.
  • Reduced configuration, sleeping 8, without the annex suite – available all dates.
  • Bargain small family option, for up to 6 people (from 900 Euros) – available outside 23/6 to 8/9.

Accommodation comprises:

  • Spacious open plan living/dining area (large satellite TV, DVD and home cinema sound).
  • Separate well equipped kitchen.
  • Mezzanine twin sleeping area (normal ceiling height) over the living/dining room.
  • Double bedroom with adjacent shower room/toilet.
  • Double bedroom and twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom/toilet.
  • Utility room

Annexe suite – access via front or rear terrace - with double bed (can be separated for twin on request), en-suite shower room/toilet, covered terrace.

About St Jean De Monts in Vendée, Pays de La Loire

The Vendee offers a wide choice of holiday activities and places to visit, including theme parks and fun-pools to keep the children amused, many chateaux with history pageants and festivities, beautiful botanical gardens, not to mention the fabulous coastline with its sandy beaches and excellent water sports facilities. A trip to the history theme park “Le Puy du Fou” is an unforgettable day out for all the family. How To Get To St Jean De Monts in Vendée, North West France

The nearest ferry port is St Malo (an easy 3 hour drive) and the next nearest are Caen and Cherbourg (about 4 hours). You can find budget flights to either Nantes airport (1 hour drive) or La Rochelle airport (under 2 hour drive). Car hire is available at both of these. Nearest train stations are Challans and St Gilles Croix de Vie.
