Apartment in Collioure near the Beach
Collioure has always been a coveted place because of its opening to the Mediterranean Sea. This small 2 bedroom apartment is situated in the heart of the historic center of Collioure and about 50 meters from the sea.
In the early 1900s Collioure became a centre of artistic activity, with several Fauvist artists selecting it as their favourite place to paint. Among them were Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, and Salvadore Dali. Trace their footsteps as you explore this delightful village with this ideal location in the center of the village just two steps from the beach with easy access to all of the villages of the Vermillion Coast.

Recently renovated apartment in the top floor of a fishermans cottage in the picturesque village of Collioure. Comfortably accommodating 5 people, the apartment comprises:
- Two separate bedrooms - Bedroom 1 contains small double (120 cm) in a fold away cabinet. Bedroom 2 contains two single beds, one under the other in a daybed style.
- The living room contains another daybed.
- Well equipped kitchen/dining area
- A bathroom
About Collioure in Pyrénées-Orientales, Languedoc Roussillon
Collioure, an idyllic place on the rocky coastline, is situated in the very south of France, 26 km (approx. 15 miles) from the Spanish border. The picturesque village is nestled in an authentic environment. Its small Catalan harbor is sheltered by a quiet bay where the chain or the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean Sea.
The exceptionally sunny climate and the north wind “Tramontane” makes Collioure a unique place where well-being and Catalan 'art de vivre' have their origins. You can count on having a splendid swim at one of the small coves and several sand and pebble beaches. The village is known for its artistic history and the shops and boutiques reflect this history.
Collioure Casino is 5 minutes away at the entrance to the village just off D 914.

How To Get To Collioure in Pyrénées-Orientales, South of France and the Riviera
Collioure is located on the train route from Peripignan to Spain and the local bus (400) from Peripignan provides a regular daily service. The apartment is located about .5 km from the train station just behind the Hotel des Templiers and in the heart of the historic center of Collioure. Parking is in the public carparks and a weekly parking ticket can be purchased from the parking office at the top of the hill in the main off street parking lot.
Arrival by car is from the A9 at Peripignan South and follow the signs to Argeles and the Collioure exits 13 o4 14 from D 914 will take you into the village center and its public parking lots.
