VINAUBERGE is a new holiday complex situated in a quiet and idyllic village, directly on the banks of the Southern French Canal-du-Midi. In the immediate surroundings you will find the amazing sandy beaches of the Mediterranean close to Béziers, Valras Plage and Cap d’Agde.

The traditional buildings of the former Poilhes wine cooperative were renovated and transformed in a unique and special way into four stylish gîtes and three spacious lofts. Guests and wine lovers can enjoy delicious local specialities in the on-site restaurant and have the choice of hundreds of wines from the Languedoc Roussillon.

VINAUBERGE is an ideal place to relax in midst beautiful nature and enjoy the Southern French Savoir Vivre.

Vinauberge features 7 modern, brand new and clean apartments, that range from 60-100m2 in size and consist of :

  • Either 1 or 2 bedrooms
  • A fully equipped kitchen
  • Open plan living/dining/kitchen
  • Heating or air conditioning (depending on season)
  • Some apartments have a terrace. However, there is a roof terrace to share for all parties.

5 of the apartments are fully accessible to wheelchair users.

About Poilhes in Hérault, Languedoc Roussillon

VINAUBERGE is located at the entrance of sleepy Poilhes, one of the most beautiful villages on the Canal-du-Midi between Carcassonne and Béziers. The countryside is characterised by vineyards as far as the eye can reach, olive groves and of course the typical plane tree avenues.

There are a whole host of various recreational activities and places to visit, be it sandy beaches, Cathar Castles, bicycle tours, roman remains, breath-taking canyons, summer festivals in the surrounding villages and towns, relaxing Canal cruises and of course numerous walking and hiking opportunities. Towns like Montpellier, Perpignan, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Béziers, Agde and Sète are also worth a visit.

How To Get To Poilhes in Hérault, South of France and the Riviera

The nearest airport and train station is Béziers. The closest motorway exit is number 36, Béziers Ouest. Then follow signs for Capestang. Shortly before Capestang turn left towards Poilhes. We are situated on the right just before the exit of the village.
