Delightful Modern Holiday Villa with Pool

This attractively furnished modern villa is situated in Charente-Maritime and comfortably sleeps 8 people. The property enjoys a large garden and large private pool and is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the coast.

The villa has just been refurbished for 2012. Situated on the west Atlantic coast, one can enjoy eating outside from about April to October.

Holiday Accommodation at Villa Lavande

The accommodation is all on one floor and comprises:

  • 2 double bedrooms
  • 2 twin bedrooms, plus child's cot available
  • A large lounge/diner with 3 sofas, table and chairs, Satellite TV and DVD
  • A fitted kitchen including fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine
  • Bathroom with large walk in shower, bath, washbasin and WC
  • A further separate WC

There is central heating for stays early and late in the year. The Villa is non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

Outside

There is a partly covered patio with table and chairs, a large lawned garden, ample parking and for your exclusive use a 11.5 m x 5.6 m swimming pool 1.2 m deep.

About St Sornin in Charente-Maritime, Poitou Charentes

It is in the village of St Sornin in the Charente Maritime approximately 10 minutes from the coast. The village has one shop for essentials and one café / bar.

Further shops, supermarkets, banks and filling stations can be found in the nearby town of Marennes, approximately 8 minutes away. The towns of La Rochelle, Rochefort and Saintes are within 45 minutes travel as is the coastal resort of Royan.

La Palmyre with it’s world famous Zoo, Port and beaches is 30 minutes away and closer still is the island of Isle d’Oleron with huge beaches and fishing villages. The Charante-Maritime is the second sunniest department of France after the Cote d’Azur.

How To Get To St Sornin in Charente-Maritime, South West France

The local Airports are La Rochelle and Bordeaux. The nearest Ferry Port is St Malo approximately 5 hrs drive.
