1st floor Apartment Overlooking the Beach

The apartment is situated in the popular suburb of Parame about 2 km from the Ferry Terminal and the Intra Muros in St. Malo. The location is on the Digue de la Rochebonne and very close to the Hotel des Thermes, a famous Thalassotheraphy centre. 

The apartment is on the first floor,  in an attractive building 'Alexandra' and situated in a quiet, leafy suburb.  It overlooks the beach, providing easy access and extensive sea views, where you can watch the changing of the tide and numerous boats on the horizon. A map will be provided for the precise location with a firm booking.

Holiday Accommodation at The Apartment

The apartment is approximately 20 sq. m and consists of two rooms and is therefore suitable for 2 persons. The sleeping facilities consist of a comfortable daybed which easily converts into a double bed with storage facilities underneath. There is also a single folding guest bed which can be used if needed but is mainly suitable for a child.  Duvets and pillows are provided but guests will need to provide their own linen.  

All usual amenities are provided including TV.  There is also a shower with constant hot water and convector heaters. Parking is available outside the apartment in the Boulevard but not behind the building.  As the apartment is also in private use for certain times during the year guests are asked to leave the apartment in a clean condition for the next occupants.

About Parame in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany

There are a number of shops nearby including a supermarket where it is possible to buy a wide range of food and drink.

The area of the Digue is particularly attractive with beautiful, long, clean sandy beach, ideal for children and suitable for bathing and wind surfing.  It is popular with people of all ages and consists of a promenade of about 2 km, on which are located a number of excellent hotels and beautiful private residences.  The Intra Muros in St. Malo can be reached on foot in about half an hour by walking along the promenade and the beach, provided the tide is out.

The Intra Muros, identified from a distance by the spire of the Cathedral, is one of the gems of Brittany, where numerous restaurants, shops and holiday attractions can be found, together with a bustling nightlife and varied street entertainment.  There is also a Tourist Information Centre at the harbour.

St. Malo is also a convenient Ferry Port with a direct connection to Portsmouth, via Brittany Ferries and provides an excellent base in which to explore the rest of Brittany with visits to

Dinard - 15 mins by boat from the harbour
Dinan - 25 kms
Mont St. Michel - 40 kms
Cancale - a famous oyster port

The town also provides a good base for the Loire Valley.

It is hoped that guests enjoy their stay at the apartment and find the area relaxing and interesting, especially the views of the sunsets over the sea and beach in the evening!

How To Get To Parame in Ille-et-Vilaine, North West France

The property is within 2km. of the town  and hence the Ferry port. It is  located on the Digue de Rochebonne. This is a long promenade about 2km in length. the nearest airport is Dinard with a service from Stansted with Ryanair. There is a direct rail link to Paris from St.Malo.
