This beautifully restored stone house of the early 17th century is situated in the well sought after village of St. Siffret. The property is located 5km to the Southeast of Uzès, with restaurants within walking distance. The house is owner occupied when they are in the region and is consequently very comfortable and elegantly furnished.

Accommodation detail

The spacious living room has a high ceiling and a magnificent view over the hills and the village. The equally spacious upstairs suit looks out over a small swimming pool (3.15m x 5.5m) and a walled in garden that assures privacy. Parking can be found in front of the entrance gate.

About the location

Uzès is the capital of the oldest Duchy in France dating from the 11th century and is one of its best preserved towns. There are many points of interest in the town itself.

The famous "Pont du Gard" the Roman viaduct, is 30 minutes away. Both Avignon (with its fast TGV connection to Marseille, Paris and the airports of Charles de Gaulle/Paris and Lyon) and Nimes (an important Roman settlement) are 45 minutes away.

Additional price information

• Minimum 2 week rental between 13 June and 26 August.
• Cleaning lady included for 1 hour each week, available for more cleaning if requested.
• No children under 15 years, nor are pets allowed.
• To book please email confirming that you have read, understood and agree with the booking terms and conditions and confirm the period required.

Our further rental conditions:

Not included in the rental prices are

• Deposit in the form of a personal cheque of 400 € (euro),to be reimbursed within 8 weeks after departure, in full or deducted for repairs.
• Telephone as per France Telecom's bill, this account will be provided within 8 weeks after your stay.
• Obligatory rental of linen at €10  (euro) per person for 1 set.
• Optional: Rental of towels, Bath towel €4  (euro)/pc, hand towel  €3  (euro)/pc.
• Weekly electricity charges of €80 (euro).
• One time cleaning charge of €100 (euro).
• Heating charge, if needed, €80 per week

Arrival / Departure :

• Arrival is mostly Saturday but other days can be arranged (which is preferable in the July and August period).
• Arrival is between 4.30pm and 7pm.
• Departure is not later than 10am.

Payment of rental and deposit:

• 50% within one week of making the booking. The rental is only confirmed after this down payment has been received.
• 50% plus deposit, 8 weeks before arrival.

Cancellations:

• If your cancellation reaches us 90 days before the planned arrival date, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged.
• If your cancellation reaches us between 90 and 60 days before the planned arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
• If your cancellation reaches 59 or fewer days before the planned arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
