The little villa is only 45 minutues from Cherbourg in a quiet, very French, residential area. There are miles of safe sandy beaches in both directions and the property is just 100m away from the beach.

The villa is on one level surrounded by its own enclosed garden and off road parking. Entrance is through French windows into:

• A large sitting/dining room with a cosy wood-burning stove in the corner.
• A large double bedroom to the right and
• A large twin bedded room with a sofa bed to the left. 
• A small kitchen
• A shower room
• A separate W.C. 

This is the place for a really idyllic bucket and spade holiday for children and for adults (whether or not with children) the ideal place to relax and enjoy the French way of life. Out of season there is a warm welcome from the wood-burner after invigorating long walks on the beach.

This is a quiet place but with lots of activities, restaurants and sightseeing available within a few miles. Duvets and pillows are provided, but no bed linen. Cleaning equipment is provided and we ask our guests to leave the house as they would wish to find it.

About the location

The little house is RIGHT by the beach, Denneville beach is famous for being huge, safe ,sandy and clean. Denneville has its own butchers, bakers,grocers and morning vegetable market in the summer. Walking or biking to get the bread and delicious croissants in the morning is a great way to start the day! Port Bail with its excellent Tuesday market and Carteret with its delicious harbour-side restaurants are very close by. Coutances, Mont St Michel, and the Normandy Landing beaches are all within striking distance.

How to get here

Only 45mins from Cherbourg on the west coast of the Cotentin peninsula, Denneville is opposite Jersey.  The quickest way to get there is from Cherbourg with Brittany ferries from Portsmouth. If you prefer to cross the channel via Dover or Le Havre take the motorway to Carentan then go cross country to the west coast.
