One Spacious Studio Apartment
The apartment is a large open plan studio, with a queen sized bed, fully equipped kitchen, stove, fridge, washing machine, microwave, etc., and all the implements for preparing easy meals at home, while enjoying the fabulous views from its fourth floor balcony, taking in the entire coast of the Cote D'Azur and the Promenade des Anglais, Nice's most prominent beach front address.
The bathroom has a large walk in shower, and the apartment itself can sleep up to four people - with two single beds should they be required. The building itself is directly across the street from the beach, which runs the entire length of the Promenade des Anglais and you can easily walk to the centre of town in approximately thirty minutes, or hop a local bus on Avenue Californie that will take you into town, or to the train station where you can explore the other famous towns such as Cannes, Monte Carlo, Antibes, etc. Don't miss out on Old Town, or the colourful Cours des Salesy, flower market that takes places in the heart of town - you can even pick us local produce such as cheeses, meats, fruits and vegetables, and picnic on the beach or come back to your apartment and dine al fresco on the balcony while soaking up some sun and enjoying the people watching below.
The apartment is located on the fourth floor, with an elevator and is fully air conditioned.
Holiday Accommodation at Avenue Californie
The largest of the two apartments. A sunny apartment with spectacular views of the "Baie des Anges" Nice's most famous pedestrian zone, facing the beaches with views as far ranging as Cap D'Antibes and Monte Carlo.
The accommodation comprises:
- Large open plan apartment can sleep up to four people, full sized double bed plus divan sofa sleeper bed in main living space.
- Large terrace that spans the length of the apartment with incredible views of the sea and the Promenade des Anglais.
- Kitchen fully equipped, cooker, stove, washing machine, fridge etc., and all necessary utensils for cooking.
- Bathroom with large bath with shower attachment and a generous size entrance with lots of cupboard space.
- Separate toilet.
- Terrace where you can eat out and enjoy the views. There are exits either from the kitchen directly or main living area.
- The building is superbly maintained with a Concierge on site year round.
About St Roman De Bellet in Alpes-Maritimes, Provence - Cote d'Azur
The neighbourhood is very well maintained, with the local Parks and Recreation keeping a wonderful green belt area in front on the apartments, full of flowers and tropical plants. You can go by foot to shops, bars and local restaurants and you are steps away from the main beaches of Nice all along the Promenade des Anglais. The Nice Tourism Office is directly across the street from the apartment for any information you may want to receive of local events during your stay.
For those of you who prefer not to have a car, Nice has a wonderful safe, clean inexpensive public transportation service, and a bus stops in front of the building that goes directly to the train station where you can visit all the coastal towns of the Cote D'Azure inexpensively, and safely. There is free street parking in the neighbourhood.
The neighbourhood is local, in that the building is mostly French residents, so it is very quiet and in a safe and convenient area. It is just two minutes to a large grocery store, shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. The busy avenue of Promenade des Anglais is well trafficked, but with easy access to the beach directly from the apartment, making an easy journey to and fro. Banks, doctors, dentists and the hospital are all nearby as well as the train station and bus stops for those who prefer public transportation. It is a short drive from Nice International Airport, less than five minutes brings you right to the apartment.
Nice also has a great fresh fruit and produce market daily with great picnic type foods that can be enjoyed while taking the sun on the Promenade des Anglais and watching the world go by, a great people watching place. Rollerbladers, bicyclists training for the Tour de France, joggers and lots of strollers just taking in the sea air and the scenery. Listed below are easy driving instructions to follow to get to the apartments.

How To Get To St Roman De Bellet in Alpes-Maritimes, South of France and the Riviera
Directions from the Airport
Follow the signs to exit for Nice Centre and immediately make a right hand turn onto the Promenade Des Anglais for approximately one kilometre. Immediately before the first traffic light you will see small road that you turn right into, it is a cul de sac and you follow the curve and make a small U-turn you will find yourself facing Promenade Des Anglais and on your right hand side on the other side of the road you will see a seven story white condominium building with green and white striped awnings on the balconies. This is your apartment building. Drive straight on and parking on all the surrounding streets is free (you may want to drop one of your party with the luggage at the corner while you go to park your car)
Please contact my bilingual Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Pioton one week prior to your arrival date, to coordinate the meeting to exchange the keys and show you into your apartment. He can be reached by emailing him at apart-hotel-riviera@club-internet.fr and his mobile phone number from within France is 067 493 6526 or office 0493 8730 64. If calling from outside of France you must add (33) and then drop the 0 in front of both of these numbers.. When you land in Nice or arrive by car, you need also to call him that day to make sure the timing has not changed for your appointed meeting, as he waits for you outside of the building. Check in time is confirmed by my Manager with you directly, and check out time in the morning of departure is 11 a.m. The cleaning crew will arrive between 11 and 12 so please make sure to take all your belongings with you.
For those of you arriving by car, it is very simple, you follow the signs for the exit to Nice Airport, not city centre, Exit No. 51 and make a right following directions to St. Augustin, this takes you right into the airport and the road that parallels it . Follow this into Terminal 1 and out the other side of the airport where you link up as written above with Promenade Des Anglais and follow the same instructions already written. You can't go wrong in the airport just follow Nice/Promenade Des Anglais signs. Bon Voyage!

- Check in time is usually between 2-4 p.m., but we do our best to accommodate special arrangement. Late night arrivals can be arranged, and there is a small surcharge for this service. Check out time is 11 a.m., as the apartment must be cleaned and prepared for the next guest arriving.
Damage deposit
- A damage deposit in the amount of 200 euros is required by personal check prior to your arrival date. This will be returned intact to you to your home address upon departure and inspection of the property.
