Great house, beautiful surroundings. A good launch pad to explore the countryside. Lots of great walks or strolls around the property and large towns within easy driving distance. The house was just enough for the two of us and well equipped. Stuart and Kate are really cool, add to that a friendly Labrador and two gorgeous cats, I was in heaven! Thanks a lot Stuart, Kate, Megan and Emily for a great holiday. PS on the drive up the hill, look to your right and see a beautiful ruined castle on the the opposite side.

We stayed at La Bergerie in April 2012 and we loved it. It was peaceful and the gite surroundings are beautiful. The gite is comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly but gave the space we needed. You don’t need to go far to get amazing views and abundant wild flowers. There are good markets and other attractions to suit all tastes. We wanted a quiet holiday and got it. But others have clearly enjoyed activity packed breaks.
We totally recommend Moulin de Perle. We have stayed in a lot of self- catering accommodation and this was the best for us.

A beautiful week at La Bergerie which is an excellent location to walk in the hills, plenty of places of interest to visit and beautiful beaches just an hours drive away.
Moulin De Perle is a wonderful retreat, La Bergerie is well equipped for a perfect holiday. We were made very welcome by Kate, Stewart, Megan and Emily.
We highly recommend a stay here and would love to return to visit the places we didn't get time to see.

We had booked the gite for a week, and liked it so much we decided to stay an extra night. The gite was exactly as described, a cosy retreat in a gorgeous area. The owners Kate and Stuart were welcoming and helpful , but left us in peace to really enjoy our holiday. The surrounding area has so much to offer for walking and historical site seeing.
We really couldn't recommend this gite more highly as a base in the foothills of the Pyrenees.
