Traditional Style Ski Chalet with Stunning Views

Chalet Morion and Apartment Morion form a beautiful chalet built in traditional style in the lovely unspoilt ski resort of Sainte Foy. Situated just 100m from the main lift station, it sits on the edge of a plateau overlooking the spectacular Tarentaise Valley with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. In summer the pistes above Ste Foy revert to green pasture and it is a tranquil, beautiful place to relax and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Vanoise and Grand Paradis National Parks. Walk, bike or pony trek around the chalet to mountain lakes and waterfalls, through larch forests, Alpine meadows and historic villages.

The four bedroom chalet occupies the two upper floors of the building with a self-contained two bedroom apartment below. They can be rented year round either separately or jointly - on a self catering basis. Both are spacious, comfortable and well equipped.

About Ste Foy Tarentaise in Savoie, Rhone Alps

Ste Foy is a true Alpine village in a superb ski area often referred to as the best kept secret in the Alps. Small in lift number, it is huge on character, peace and powder. Best of all the base station and main lift are a mere 100m from the chalet! Three chairlifts rise from 1550m to 2620m and there is a also a magic carpet lift on the nursery slopes. A mid-mountain six-seater chairlift accesses fabulous new intermediate slopes. Both lifts and slopes are uncrowded and the snow usually stays in excellent condition on the pistes because of the small number of visitors, and because the sheltered north-west facing bowl enjoys excellent snow throughout the winter. In summer, if you get bored of the stunning mountain views from the chalet balcony or BBQ'ing on the grass, walk just one minute from the chalet in any direction and you will find the numerous walking tracks through peaceful larch forests with waterfalls and stunning vistas. Venture a little further and you'll find ancient villages, mountain streams and lakes surrounded by meadows of flowers.

How To Get To Ste Foy Tarentaise in Savoie, The Rhone Alps (SE France)

• Chalet Morion is in the ski station of Ste Foy, 4 km above the main village of Ste Foy Tarentaise.
• The chalet is just 15 minutes drive from Bourg St Maurice with its Eurostar link.
• The nearest airport is Chambery just an hour and a half away. Grenoble is around two hours and Lyon and Geneva are around two and a quarter hours' drive.
• Detailed driving instructions can be provided.
• Buses are available from all the airports to Bourg St Maurice, and from there a regular bus service will bring you to the chalet door in Ste Foy
