The cottages are set in the rural farmland region of La Manche, which produces cider and calvados.

They have been sympathetically restored and offer total peace, tranquillity and seclusion. They are set in peaceful meadow-land with apple and plum trees and have their own private driveway and parking. They are within easy walking distance of the local village, which has an excellent boulangerie. They are surrounded by farmland, well away from main roads and traffic.

The cottages have their own patio area with garden furniture and barbecue.

About the location

These cottages are set in their own garden surrounded by farmland, close to a small village La Chapelle Cécelin about 7 kilometres from the medieval town of Villedieu les Poeles.  The coast is within easy reach as are the pretty towns of Avranches and Granville.

Granville (about 30kms away) has many delightful restaurants specialising in local seafood whilst St. Malo really caters for the tourist in a big way and has many historical places of interest to visit together with other attractions such as the sea life aquarium. Closer, is Avranches, which has a fine cathedral and some beautifully kept ornamental gardens overlooking Le Mont St. Michel.

Further afield there is Bayeux which has fascinating historical exhibits including the famous Bayeux Tapestry.
