Home description
Chris and Dennis welcome you to the Riverside B & B - modern comfort in a medieval setting in NW France. On the banks of the Rance, 2km up river from the Port de Dinan, the property is set in spacious gardens and water-meadow, looking across the river to Lehon's ruined chateau and its medieval abbey.
The whole house is available for rental from October through to March.

About the location
You are within walking distance (5 minutes) of Léhon's medieval village, its ruined castle and restored Abbey. From the bridge, you have walks along the towpath. Upstream towards to Pont de Perrin there is a variety of wildlife, mallards, otters, coypu, kestrels, buzzards etc. Downstream, you pass by the lock to reach the port of Dinan (15 to 20 minutes) with its shops, restaurants and boat hire. From the port, you can climb a winding cobbled street, "le Jerzual", to enter old Dinan by one of its medieval gates.
Rennes is less than 40 minutes away, as is Mont St. Michel (a world heritage site) and the walled pirate city of St. Malo.
