The accommodation is a first floor studio apartment which can sleep up to 4 people. The apartment is situated in the small family resort of Drouzin le Mont in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps.

This purpose built ski station has 14 ski runs ranging from green to red. The resort lies between the village of Le Biot in Valley d'Aulps and the Abondance Valley and is a one hour drive from Geneva. The ski resort is suitable for a range of abilities and is particularly ideal for families and beginners with two of the ski lifts directly opposite the apartment.

• Kitchen corner, fully equipped with fridge, 2 electric rings, combination microwave.
• Living area which has a double sofa bed, large wardrobe, TV, video, radio, CD player.
• Dining table and four chairs.
• Bunk beds in the hallway (suitable for children) with a large cupboard next to them.
• Bathroom with a shower, sink and shaver point.
• Separate toilet.

• Lift.
• Duvets and pillows provided (no linen).
• The ski locker is on the ground floor and skis and boots can be left here as they are not allowed in the lift.
• Car parking is available opposite the apartment free of charge.
• There is access to the south facing balcony from the main living area which looks out onto the lower ski slopes and fishing lake.

About the location

Alternative ski areas are close by on Les Portes du Soleil system which is one of the largest linked ski areas in the world with over 650km of prepared pistes. The nearest resorts are Morzine, Les Gets, and the high level resort of Avoriaz, which are only 15 to 25 minutes drive away.

At Drouzin le Mont there is a Pizzeria/Creperi and a small shop selling provisions which are both open in high season and a traditional Bar/Restaurant/Hotel that is open all year. They serve good food which is very reasonably priced. The owners are very friendly and speak some English. Bread and croissants can be purchased from the hotel each morning if you order them the previous evening. The local ski school (ESF), the ski hire shop, and the letting agent office are all next door to the hotel. The ski hire shop and ski school both offer very good rates and you can pre book.

Nearby there is a baker and a restaurant in the nearest village Le Biot, a 5 minute drive away. The nearest large supermarket and petrol station are a 15 minute drive away at St. Jean d'Aulps, where there is also a bank with cash machine, a tourist information office and a couple of nice restaurants.
