Quartier Le Peyrard is a typical French Provencal house situated above the village of Tourrettes which is essentially integrated into the very attractive and typical Provence village Fayence, with its many charming restaurants and traditional shops, and market 3 times each week.

The house and gardens enjoy complete privacy with a peaceful feeling of rural Provence, while remaining within walking distance (1 km) of the active village centre of Fayence. The 2500 square metre (0.25 Ha) level mature grounds are fully encompassed by hedge and fence, with electrically operated gates and contain a variety of trees and bushes (including figs and olives), providing the opportunity for shade for outdoor eating. The spacious garden gives ample opportunity for a variety of outdoor activities and contributes to the feeling of space and tranquility associated with the region.

The main south facing façade includes 2 double French doors connecting the lounge and kitchen with a covered terrace/patio, facing the pool (10m x 5m) area. Plenty of space for parking cars behind the house. There is a terrace, garden, barbecue, private pool, washing line, parking, and patio/garden furniture.

This ideal hideaway property is enclosed and private. Ideal for those wanting a flavour of rural Provence at their own pace.

Accommodation detail

The property consists of a main house with:

• Kitchen - good sized, well equipped and practical with new appliances. It also has an island in the middle, which serves nicely as a breakfast bar or work top etc. Facilities include a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dish washer, iron and board, toaster, coffee maker, liquidiser.
• Lounge/dining room - with fire place, is equipped with TV/DVD and radio, stereo system, CD player and seats 8, the dining table seats 12.
• Master double bedroom - has a spacious en-suite bathroom with double basin's, shower, bath and WC, and a washing machine.
• Second double bedroom - has a double bed made of 2 purpose built singles (can be separated if necessary).
• Third bedroom - is equipped with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom with wash basin, shower and WC.
• A third bathroom - with shower, washbasin and WC.
• Fourth bedroom - is located in the annex, approx 10m from the main house and is a spacious room with a high ceiling and double bed. It has an en-suite bathroom with wash basin, shower and WC. The annex door opens towards the pool area and main house entrance.

Bed and house linen and towels are provided and pets to be agreed in advance. Central heating is available.

About the location

The house is approx 45 minutes from Nice airport and 30 mins from Cannes, St Rafael, Frejus and other good beaches. Further inland from Fayence there are additional interesting villages (e.g. Mons, Seillans, Bargemon ++), and spectacular gorges (Verdun is a couple of hours by car, but a smaller one is within 20 minutes).

Boating and bathing is possible within 10 minutes at Lac de St Cassien, and close to the Forest of Defens. Ideal situation to sample the peaceful village life of Provence while having easy access to many varied sporting activities and the buzzing Cote d'Azur.

How to get here

The nearest airport is Nice Cote d'Azur.  From the Airport follow the A8 West, past Cannes until the Les Adrets exit (number 39), heading North on the D-37 towards Fayence. If driving from UK or France the approach will be on the A8 from the Aix-en Provence direction.

Additional price information

Rental includes linen and towels as well as final cleaning. If you stay longer than a week we will change the linen after a week and clean the bathrooms.

We ask a 30% down payment when making the reservation, the rest 6 weeks before arrival plus a 25% refundable breakage deposit.

Long term rentals welcome. Please ask us for price which is depending on length of stay.

Preferred method of payment is direct transfer to our bank account - details provided upon booking

Long term rates can be arranged.
