Bergerie with Pool set Amidst Natural Forest

Set amidst natural forest near St Paul en Foret, the old stone bergerie is a charming hideaway, private, but not isolated. The main rooms face south, on to a large terrace, overlooking the swimming pool 12m x 6m. The spacious grounds of 1.5 hectares are a delight for children to explore, a tranquil and unspoilt area. In the distance are lovely views of the hills and valleys of the Var.

The entrance door opens to:-

  • Dining room with French windows opening to a covered terrace.
  • Living room with large sliding patio doors leading to the south facing terrace. There is an open fireplace, TV and comfortable chairs and a sofa, which converts to a bed if required.
  • Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, electric oven, microwave and fridge/freezer.
  • Utility/storeroom with shower and handbasin.
  • Separate WC

  • Bedroom 1 with double bed.
  • Bedroom 2 with 2 sets of bunk beds.
  • Bathroom with handbasin, bath, bidet and WC

    Cot and highchair available, and bedlinen and towels can be provided, 10 euro each person.

About St Paul En Foret in Var, Provence - Cote d'Azur

The bergerie is 5 km from St Paul en Foret, between the Roman town of Frejus and the medieval perched village of Fayence, well known for it's gliding airfield.

There are good facilities for shopping locally, and an excellent choice of restaurants nearby. About 10 minutes distant is the attractive Lac St. Cassien, with beaches and facilities for windsurfing.

Further afield are the famous towns of Grasse, Cannes, St. Tropez, Draguignan and Frejus.
