La Bastide Saint Christophe with Large Pool

A few minutes walk from the centre of the medieval village of Le Bar sur Loup, the bastide is set in a centuries old olive grove of 3000 m² with uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

We offer 5 very spacious and high quality gîte apartments, all with private front-door access and furnished with care in a warm and comfortable Provençal style.  The fabulous 12 x 5 metre swimming pool is surrounded by wrought iron fencing and equipped with sun loungers and parasols.

Bed and Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast is offered outside of peak and high seasons, with a 2 night minimum stay.
90 euros per night per room, based on occupancy of one or two people, including continental breakfast. Each double bedroom has private use of bathroom and toilet.

Holiday Accommodation at Top Apartment

The two bedroom Top apartment has wooden beamed ceilings and is pleasantly decorated in a Provençale style. It is south facing and offers splendid views of the surrounding area. This cosy yet spacious apartment of 80m² can accommodate up to five people. A section of the main garden is set out with garden furniture for guests' use.

The facilities include:

  • One twin bedroom and one spacious double bedroom, containing one king-size bed (160x200cm) and an additional single bed.
  • Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and coffee maker.
  • Lounge with dining area, including Hi-Fi, TV, DVD player and selection of DVD's.
  • WIFI - Wireless broadband Internet access
  • Bathroom with toilet, bath and shower.
  • Access to main garden with garden furniture.
  • Central heating in all rooms for winter lets.

About Gourdon in Alpes-Maritimes, Provence - Cote d'Azur

The perched village of Le Bar sur Loup is located between Grasse and Nice at the beginning of the picturesque Gorges du Loup. Here, the best of both worlds exists with the peace and beauty of the countryside and the excellent proximity to the towns on the Riviera.
The village itself has good facilities, including numerous restaurants, several bakeries, butchers, general store, pharmacy, post office and tourist information.

Additional price information

  • Top Apartment rentals are from Saturday to Saturday, however the changeover day is flexible during low season.
  • Arrivals should be after 4 pm and departures before 10 am.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the rental price is required at the time of booking
    and the outstanding balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
  • A refundable damage deposit of €300 or £200 is required on your arrival.
  • We accept payments in Pounds Sterling to a UK bank account or Euros to a French bank account.
