• Lounge 2:  Large spacious room with french doors opening out onto side garden and terrace.  Plasma TV, DVD with surround system.
• Bedroom 1: Double room with window overlooking front garden.
• Bedroom 2: Double room with window overlooking front garden.  Ensuite double shower,washbasin and toilet.
• Bathroom: Bath with overhead shower, bidet and washbasin.
• Toilet.

First floor

• Bedroom 3: Double room with beautiful pine clad ceilings and French doors leading onto a small balcony (with views of the Pyrenees).
• Bedroom 4: Two single beds. Window overlooking pool and garden with open views of the countryside.
• Shower Room: Shower, washbasin and toilet.
• Garage: Washing machine and fridge freezer.

Outside

The property is located off a private road. There is a large garden to the front, side and back with trees and shrubs. The terrace and heated pool are south facing. A gas barbecue, patio table, chairs, sunbeds, table tennis table, swing are available. Pool is alarmed and fenced off from the terrace.

About the location

Local Facilities: There is a shop, post office and restaurant/bar, salon de the and boulangerie.  The pretty town of St Vincent is a 10 minute drive – here you will find shops, bars, restaurants a cinema and a market (Fridays only) that sells fresh produce. The Hypermarket is on the outskirts. Fresh fish can be bought from the harbour at Capbreton and a market takes place in Hossegor every Sunday.

Spain The Spanish border is only 40 minutes drive from Saubrigues.  Look out for the fiestas that are held in San Sebastian, Bilbao and Vittoria for a bit of partying and fireworks.

How to get here

Air: Ryanair offers daily flights from Stanstead to Biarritz (20 minute).   BmiBaby flights from Birmingham to Bordeaux (approx 2 hrs).  Easyjet flights from Bristol to Bordeaux.

Car: The house is situated 10 minutes from the A63 motorway/RN10. Saubrigues is approximately 7 hrs drive from St Malo and 8.5hrs from Caen.

Train: The TGV runs twice daily from Paris to Bayonne and takes approximately 5hrs. The overnight service from Paris provides car transportation.

NB Due to the rural location of the house a car is essential. All major car hire companies run from Biarritz and Bordeaux airports.
