• Large and welcoming lounge/dining room: displaying a wealth of exposed beams, stonework and large fireplace. Wonderfully furnished with 3 comfortable sofas (one of which is a double sofa bed), large dining room table and chairs (suitable for up to 8 persons) TV: Sky satellite and French channels, video, hi-fi system with CD player, a large selection of videos cassettes for children & adults. French windows leading out to a pretty paved barbecue area with old French well feature.

First Floor

• 2 bathrooms (both equipped with bath and shower wall unit) toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail.
• Bedroom 1: Spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom, Kingsize bed and 1 single bed.
• Bedroom 2: Twin beds.
• Bedroom 3: Twin beds.

All bedrooms have attractive wood grained flooring, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Within the Grounds

This charming property is set in a grassed area with trees and flowering shrubs with beautiful views overlooking the countryside, this makes an ideal place for you to relax and also for children to play in safely.

• Large terraced area (south facing), furnished with barbecue, garden table & chairs, parasol and sun beds.
• Small outbuilding adjacent to the cottage equipped with a washing machine.
• Graveled parking area for at least 2/4 cars.

About the location

La Ville Thomas is within very easy reach of the beautiful Côte de Emerauld (the Emerald Coast) only 5 mins drive away, where you will find numerous beautiful golden sandy beaches at St Jacut de la Mer and Lancieux.

Nearby the very popular Edwardian sea-side resort of Dinard (10kms) the medieval town of Dinan (15kms) and the old picturesque town of St Malo (18kms).

All immediate needs are at the local village of Ploubably (5 kms) these include: 2 supermarkets, butchers, bakers/patisseries, cafes/bars, creperie/pizzeria and 2 restaurants and every Friday morning there is a small market in the square, selling fresh local products. Nearer to home only 5 mins drive away is the delightful village of Crehan where you will find a small supermarket, bakers and bar tabac.

This gorgeous area of Brittany is most definitely an excellent all year round tourist centre there are many more holiday attractions and beautiful historic places to visit, for those of you who enjoy a day on the beach the choice is endless.

How to get there

The ferry port of St Malo is about 20 mins drive from La Ville Thomas and 10 mins from International Airport at Dinard.

Brittany Ferries channel crossing: Portsmouth-St Malo, Condor Ferries have a daily car and passenger service from Weymouth and Poole to St Malo (May to September).

Dinard International Airport: (Ryan Airways, East Midlans, Bristol & Stanstead-Dinard: discounted flights available if you book well in advance). If you require car hire this can be arranged.

• Bookings are from Saturday 16 hrs / Saturday 10 hrs.
• Prices inclusive of: Gas and electricity in summer season prices. During cold spells (from October to April), guests will be accountable for the electricity they consume at local tariff rates.
• Duvets and pillows provided.
• If required bed linen is available at an extra cost of 16 Euros per person, towel service also available 6 Euros per person. 
• Long Winter lets available at very reasonable rates, please contact us for further details.
• Available on Request : Cot, Highchair and Baby Gate, extra photos of the cottage.
• How to book your reservation.
• Please request a booking form.
• A 30% deposit is required this secures the reservation with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to your arrival.
• Damage deposit: £200.
• Payment in Sterling or euros by either bank transfer or by cheque. (If paying in euros by cheque, French euro cheque requested)
• Languages spoken: English and French.
