Very pretty south facing country cottage ideally situated and totally secluded within its own grounds. Wonderful location being only 5 mins drive from the beautiful golden sandy beaches of Lancieux and St Jacut de la Mer.

For guests who enjoy cycling or strolling through the quite countryside the situation is also ideal

Holiday Accommodation at Le Domaine

This attractive comfortably furnished, spacious 3 bedroomed country cottage has a lovely warm cosy atmosphere and has complete privacy and is totally secluded within its own grounds. The accommodation comprises:

Ground Floor

  • South facing open plan lounge/dining room area with stunning views overlooking the garden and the countryside. This lovely room displaying a wealth of beams and a pretty fireplace with log burner.
  • Furnished with good quality, comfortable sofa's (1 converts into a king-size double bed - sleeps 2 adults at ease) and an armchair, large oak dining room table, chairs and a period dresser. These are equipped with a Plasma TV receiving SKY (Freeview card) and French Channels.
  • Delightful fully fitted kitchen with light oak wall units, well equipped with electric oven & hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a small tiled kitchen table & chairs.
  • Bedroom 1: South facing double bedroom with attractive original wooden flooring, large wardrobe.
  • Bathroom: Tiled floor, bath with wall shower unit and fitted washbasin unit.
  • Separate Toilet

1st Floor :

Two light attractively furnished south-facing bedrooms:

  • Bedroom 2: Twin beds, fitted wardrobe.
  • Bedroom 3: Twin beds, fitted wardrobe.

This charming cottage is surrounded by lawns, trees and flowering shrubs with beautiful views overlooking the countryside, this makes an ideal place for you to relax and also for children to play in safely.

About Tregon in Côtes-d'Armor, Brittany

All immediate needs are only a couple of minutes drive away at the local village of Ploubalay these include: 2 supermarkets, butchers, bakers/patisseries, cafes/bars, creperie/pizzeria and 2 restaurants and every Friday morning there is a small market in the square selling fresh local products.

Le Domaine is also an ideal base to visit Brittany, it is within very easy reach (16kms) of the beautiful ancient walled town of St Malo with its attractive narrow winding cobbled streets and hosts of wonderful restaurants. Even closer only 10 mins drive is the elegant Edwardian seaside resort of Dinard with lovely fine sandy beaches, children's beach club and a choice of many water sports, this is also popular for its designer shops and the bustling nightlife at the Casino. Explore at your leisure the charming quaint town of Dinan (12 kms) with picturesque buildings and medieval castle and ramparts.

How to get there

The ferry port of St Malo is about 15-20 mins drive from Le Domaine and 5 mins from International Airport at Dinard.

Brittany Ferries channel crossing: Portsmouth-St Malo, Condor Ferries have a daily car and passenger service from Weymouth and Poole to St Malo (May to September).

Dinard International Airport (Ryan Airways, East Midlands, Bristol & Stanstead-Dinard: discounted flights available if you book well in advance) If you require car hire this can be arranged.
