The estate of Le Clos Sainte Marie lies on the sunny south of the Montagne Noire. The lovely fast-flowing stream Le Lampy flows right through the property. You reach the farmhouse itself by a lovely driveway lined with old plane trees.

There is a large heated swimming pool (6 x 12m) with comfortable sunbeds and a large terrace an barbecue. The pool is warmed to 24 degrees between May and September.

The residences are tastefully decorated and contain all your needs for a successful holiday including a combined oven/microwave, a washing machine, satellite television, a radio/cd-player, a dining corner in authentic French style, a comfortable sitting area, a wood burning stove, good beds and antique rustic cupboards. The caretakers live on the property so there is always somebody present.

About the location

Cenne Monesties lies in Cathare country with many mediaeval castles and cities such as Carcassonne (25 km) to be visited. The Montagne Noire is a beautiful area for walking. The Canal du Midi is close by.

There are many delightful market towns to be explored, such as Mirepoix, Castelnaudary, Saissac and Revel. There are many lakes to be discovered, e.g. 17th century lake St. Ferréol. The Mediterenean Sea and the Pyrenees Mountains are within reach. So too are the interesting towns of Toulouse and Albi.
