Pat and Chris Kenway welcome you to their beautifully positioned chambres d'hote located just 4 km south of Quillan in the hamlet of Belvianes et Cavirac. Les Eaux Tranquilles is within the Haute-Vallee De L'Aude on the D117. It sits in 2 acres of park bordered by the river Aude with the Pyrenees Mountains forming a dramatic backdrop. It is in the heart of Cathar county with shi and beach resorts within easy distance. This is a large water sports activity area.

There are three double bedded rooms and one twin room currently available (Lavender is only available from mid July to Mid September). All rooms have central heating for winter guests.

There is a large and comfortable lounge which the owners are happy to share, with full home cinema where guests may watch either TV or a DVD film. You may also just want to relax with a book and listen to the radio or our varied selection of CDs.

The dining room, which comfortably seats eight people, is available for both breakfast and evening meals alternatively you may take your meals on our large terrace. Hot and cold beverages are always available, just ask.

The property benefits from secure parking in the grounds and there is also garage space available for motorcycles, bikes etc. Picnic tables and sun beds are available for garden use.

All rooms are cleaned, towels dried and consumables replenished daily, the bedding and towels changed every 3 nights in accordance with Gite de France recommendations.

Lavender Bedroom

• Spacious, king-sized bedded room with high quality fabrics and furnishings to help to give that bright, warm feel overlooked by the Pyrenees mountains. It benefits from tea and coffee making facilities, hair drier, ample wardrobe and room to relax.
   
• Full en-suite spacious private bathroom with bath, bidet, WC, shower and a vanity unit with washbasin.
   

About the location

Ideally located for touring the Cathar country with its ancient gorges (our nearest is just two minutes away), 16th century villages and vineyards, yet within easy reach of the coast and ski resorts, this is an ideal all year round retreat.
