15th Century Manor with Pool in Heart of Loire Valley
Le Manoir de Champfreau is a home of great comfort and character with all the amenities of modern living. Both properties are furnished with a collection of fine antiques and art. In summer the thick walls keep in a welcome cool and in winter you will find contentment and serenity next to a large blazing fireplace.
Champfreau's has 3 acres of walled gardens, partially moated and centred on a 50 acre site for your enjoyment.
The location of the Manoir is close the the swimming pool, making it an ideal setting for exclusive use of the pool.
La Maison Louis Richard is a large, very elegant 15th Century home which is extremely comfortable for two.

Champfreau's facilities include:
- Kitchen - with new appliances and well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer
- Sitting room - telephone with computer accessibility, satellite TV, CD stereo with large CD collection, extensive library in French and English. Large antique dining table seats 10.
- 3 Bedrooms - with new American queen size beds. One bedroom is ensuite with shower.
- Bathroom - with bath and shower.
All linen and towels and wood provided. Unlimited hot water and newly installed central heating.
Garden
Exclusive use of swimming pool. Barbecue facilities with garden furniture and 3 bicycles.
About Varennes Sur Loire in Maine-et-Loire, Pays de La Loire
Situated on 55 private acres of land, the Manoir and Maison Louis Richard are both private and spacious. The 15th Century homes are located within a walled complex of formal gardens. The Manoir is 5 minutes to the nearest village which has a baker, large market, meat market and auto garage. Situated 1 km from the Loire River and only a few kilometers to all the lovely Chateaux of the Loire Valley. We are in the Village of Varennes-sur-Loire, 12 km east of Saumur and directly located between Tours airport and Angers airport. The TGV arrives in Saumur from Paris.
