Three Cottages with Heated Pool, Close to Beaches

Les Rimaudières is situated in a pretty hamlet, set amongst vineyards and fields of sunflowers. Mortagne the local village (2 miles) has a variety of shops, and a marina with restaurants. The beautiful beaches of Meshers and St George de Didonne are only 15 minutes away. The rolling hills and small quiet country lanes make this area ideal for walking or cycling. Tennis, fishing, golf and watersports are all within easy reach.

The large heated pool is 12m x 6m with Roman steps leading to the shallow end, which is level for 3 metres and is 0.9 metres deep. Deep end is 1.5metres

This rural farmhouse and barn has been tastefully restored to a high standard. All Gîtes have fully fitted kitchens, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. Each patio is covered by a pergola and has a gas barbecue, garden furniture and enjoy views of the pool and gardens. In the evening you can relax on the patio and watch the beautiful sunset. In the extensive garden area there is plenty of space for the children to play safely. There is a boules court, tabletennis and swings and slide. Bed linen is provided and there is access to free WIFI

• Kitchen/dining room - a large sunny dining area with farmhouse table for eight people.The kitchen has fitted units, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, oven hob and washing machine.
• Lounge - with terracotta tiled floors, a three-seater settee and a two seater settee.
• Bathroom -  a large bathroom with corner bath (ideal for that glass of champagne), shower, sink and toilet

First Floor

• Bedroom 1 - double bed.
• Bedroom 2 - 2 single beds.
• Bedroom 3 - double bed, with en-suite shower room.
• Bedroom 4 - 2 single beds
• Shower room - large shower, sink, and toilet.
• Bed linen provided.

Garden

Outside private patio with garden furniture, barbecue overlooking pool and gardens.

When taking the road into the local town of Mortagne sur Gironde, you will experience breathtaking views of the estuary. In Mortagne there is a boulangerie, where you can buy your French bread and pastries. Also 2 charcuteries and a well stocked small supermarket. In Mortagne Port there are 4 good restaurants where you can eat overlooking the marina.

Take the A10 Paris Bordeaux autorouteand leave at junction 36 (Pons).  Make your way to Mortagne sur Gironde.  The property is 2.5 Km from the village in a little hamlet called Les Rimaudieres.  Near the D730 road to Royan- Bordeaux.

Nearest airports are Bordeaux (1 hour) and La Rochelle ( 1 hour)

Nearest train station is Royan, you can get the TGV to Saintes from Bordeaux or Paris.
