This house, a citadel from the 17th century, has an 8000 m2 private park with beautiful old trees. It is in the village of Saint Siffret which is 5km to the Southeast of Uzès. The house is owner occupied when they are in the region and is consequently very comfortable. Restaurants within walking distance.

Weekly electricity charges of € 80 (euro)
The cleaning lady comes twice a week for two hour and the charge for this is 2x2x€ 12 = € 48 per week.
Heating charge, if needed, at the actual consumption of gaz and electricity.
Arrival / Departure :
Arrival is mostly Saturday but other days can be arranged (which is preferable in the July and August period),
Arrival is between 4.30 pm and 7 pm
Departure is not later than 10 am
Payment of rental and deposit:
50% within one week of making the booking. The rental is only confirmed after this down payment has been received.
50% plus deposit, 8 weeks before arrival.
Cancellations:
If your cancellation reaches us 90 days before the planned arrival date, a 20% cancellation fee will be charged.
If your cancellation reaches us between 90 and 60 days before the planned arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
If your cancellation reaches 59 or fewer days before the planned arrival date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged
About the location
Uzès is the capital of the oldest Duchy in France dating from the 11th century and is one of its best preserved towns. There are many points of interest in the town itself and people come from miles around to its traditional Saturday morning market.
The famous "Pont du Gard" the Roman viaduct, is 30 minutes away. Both Avignon and Nimes (an important Roman settlement) are 45 minutes away. The Camargue National Park and the sea resorts of Port Camargue, Saintes Maries de la Mer etc. can be reached in 75 minutes.
