Nestling in the tranquil Vosges mountain village of Le Grand Valtin, the chalet is surrounded by national forest and, at an altitude of 850 metres (2,800 feet), enjoys glorious views over a lush valley. Only 10 km from the ski resorts of Gerardmer and La Bresse, minutes from stunning mountain lakes and a 30 minute drive from the vineyards of Alsace, the property is ideally located for a truly wonderful holiday, at any time of year.

The bright and spacious chalet is 130 square metres and has everything for a relaxing holiday.  The garden is south facing and has a swing set, barbecue, garden furniture and off road parking for three cars.

Ground Floor

• Two Double bedrooms - each with double beds and Alsace style furniture. One with ensuite shower room.
• Bedroom - with bunk beds and solid pine furniture.
• Bathroom - with shower, wash basin & toilet.
• Separate toilet.

First Floor

• Kitchen - fitted with five ring gas stove, electric oven, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, fondue and raclette sets.
• Large sitting / dining room - with wood burning stove, solid pine table and eight chairs, satellite television, DVD/video and CD players, comfortable sofas, coffee/games table, games cupboard.
• Master bedroom - with four-poster bed and Alsace style furniture and washroom.
• South facing balcony overlooking the valley.

For small children the following facilities are provided (upon request) carry cot/play pen, high chair, baby bath, stair gate.

About the location

Amenities, shopping and a large choice of restaurants are all within a 10 minute drive. There are three restaurants within 2 km of the chalet.

How to get here

From the Channel Tunnel, the village is a 6 1/2  hour drive. The nearest international airports are Basel-Mulhouse and Strasbourg, both of which are 90 minutes drive (110 km) from the property and from which cars can be hired.
