Renovated 19th Century Maison de Maitre with Pool and Games Room.

La Grande Maslerie is a nineteenth century 'maison de maitre' situated in the heart of Normandy on the outskirts of the village of Roullours, close to the town of Vire. The house stands in its own gardens and is in an area of farmland, with other houses nearby.

There is a coach house in the grounds, which houses a games room offering table tennis, a pool table, darts and table football. The garden behind the house is south facing with barbecue facilities, seating and swimming pool (10.5m x 5.5m).

The house is decorated with both contemporary and antique furnishings, and offers comfortable accommodation for 10-12 people.

  • Large L-shaped dining and kitchen area - the kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and there is a hi-fi system in the dining area. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the cellar.

About Roullours in Calvados, Normandy

This part of Normandy is called The Bocage and is well situated for visits to many places of interest. The seaside resort of Granville with its excellent fish restaurants, the mediaeval towns of Domfront, Vassy and Dinan are all within easy reach. Also, as well as the Normandy landing beaches, there are chateaux and gardens to visit.

How To Get To Roullours in Calvados, North West France

From the ports of Cherbourg, Caen and Le Havre the journey time is only between one and two hours depending on which port. The closest is Caen, which is an hours drive approximately.  From Calais it takes approx 3-4 hours.
