 Renovated in 2003, this very comfortable and attractive 2 bedroom cottage is situated in the heart of the vineyards in the beautiful Gaillac wine region. Suitable for both summer and long winter lets (November through to April) it is in a superb location midway between the charming town of Gaillac (3 minutes) and medieval Lisle Sur Tarn (3 minutes), all amenities are close by.

Surrounded by beautiful rolling farmland and vines, the property is next door to the owner's large 18th century house, in 8 acres of peaceful meadows with 300 year old trees and mature gardens. The cottage has its own small enclosed garden with covered barbecue/patio area and furniture. Additionally, there is exclusive use of an 8 x 4 floodlit, saltwater pool, sun terrace, shaded patio, and unspoilt views over the surrounding countryside. 

Hypermarket/supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars, schools, doctor, motorway access and all other amenities are 3-5 minutes away.

Suitable for both summer and winter lets, the property was renovated to a high standard in 2003. Tastefully furnished with exposed beams and traditional/antique furniture, it has a brand new, fully fitted kitchen.

Oil fired central heating and double glazing are installed for winter months. Satellite TV is available. Windows are fitted with shutters and there are mosquito nets at the bedroom windows.

About the location

• Gaillac (3 minutes) - market Friday morning. Wine tasting in many local vineyards. 10th century Abbaye Saint Michel, where, throughout the summer, there are many concerts and fêtes and the Gaillac wine festival in August.
• Albi (20 minutes) - beautiful historic regional Capital. Spectacular 13 Century Cathedral of Ste. Cecile and Toulouse Lautrec Museum.
• Cordes (25 minutes) - breathtaking medieval hilltop bastide village.
• Castelnau de Montmiral (10 minutes) - impressive hilltop bastide village.
• Toulouse (30 minutes) - the ‘Rose City’ with smart shopping, restaurants, historic buildings and art galleries, Space Centre and safari park.
• Spain, Andorra and the Pyrenees - about two hours drive.
• Lisle Sur Tarn (3 minutes) - 13th Century, medieval arcades, lake with miniature boats, Chocolate Museum.
