Come and relax at our south-facing farmhouse with tranquil views over its own 20 acres. Surrounded by open farmland and forests, we are located just 90 minutes directly south of St. Malo with easy access from the N137 south of Rennes and 50 minutes from La Baule's superb beaches.

This is a perfect location for exploring Brittany, well known for its forests and landscapes. Its reputation varies from the friendly people to the cuisine, from the climate of sun-drenched days to the superb unique architecture.

  This cottage is suitable for those with limited mobility as there are no steps to consider.

  The decor is finished with exposed stones and beams.

About the location

Redon, our nearest major town, is just 15 minutes away. You can visit its excellent hypermarkets also the busy shopping centre and weekly open-air market with its local fish market. The Nantes-Brest Canal crosses the river La Vilaine here and the TGV also passes through giving fast connections to Rennes and Paris. In the summer months you will see the town beautifully laden with floral displays and October is time to celebrate the sweet chestnut.

Megaliths are a fascinating feature of Brittany and we are very central for many sites, some of which can be found at Vannes, Carnac, and locally at St. Just. Nearer home are lakes, which have man-made beaches and are suitable for swimming and some also have facilities for windsurfing. Or there are open-air swimming pools at Redon or Guemene Penfao.

La Baule, the Cote D'Azur of the Atlantic coastline, is just 50 minutes away with its beautiful sandy beaches.

Visit our local restaurants which are just 10 minutes drive away where you can find most cuisines available, all offering excellent quality.

How to get here

We are located 90 mins south of St Malo ferry port with easy access via Rennes. Alternatively, from Cherbourg or Caen ferry ports there is also easy access via  Avranches and Rennes taking approximately 3.5 hours.

Nantes airport is 50 minutes to the south and Rennes Airport (St Jacques) lies 50 minutes to the north with major road access.
