I Sem Be comprises a luxuriously appointed villa and independent studio set in some 3500 m² of grounds with a wide variety of trees and plants. There are magnificent views from the main terraces and private swimming pool. Set in the foothills of the Pyrénean mountains, which form the natural border between France and Spain in this region, I Sem Be is a tranquil haven from the bustling world.

Holiday Accommodation at I Sem Be

The Main Villa

2 bedroom, sleeps 4

The main villa will be the focal point of your stay here. Sleeping four adults, it is furnished and equipped to an exceptional standard with gas central heating (during the winter months) and comprises:

• Living area - a spacious, light-filled open-plan living area featuring large patio windows leading onto a large terrace with magnificent sea and mountain views, comfortable sofas, walnut bookshelves, an oak dining table seating up to eight, and an open wood fire. The hand-made oriental rugs, drapes, pictures and ornaments add to the feeling of luxury, and a TV/video with an English language satellite system is also provided.
• Kitchen - a fully fitted kitchen leads off the main living area, with dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven, microwave, hob and extractor fan. (The washing machine and dryer are located in a different area in the villa.)
• Bedroom 1 - the spacious master suite has two patio doors leading onto the main terrace with stunning views, and has a comfortable Queen size bed. Again the oriental rugs and antique cupboard doors add to the feeling of luxury. The spacious fully-tiled private bathroom leading off the bedroom has a Jacuzzi bath and shower.
• Bedroom 2 - this also has a comfortable double bed, patio doors onto a terrace and a private, fully-tiled bathroom has a bath with shower.

The Studio

1 bedroom, sleeps 2/3

The independent studio is a short distance from the main villa, sleeps two or three adults, and so is ideal for friends or family members who want to join in the fun and yet feel that they can escape to a private, quiet area at times. It is again furnished to an exceptional standard, has electric heating (during the winter months) and comprises:

• Lounge area - with enormous patio windows leading onto a private terrace with stunning, panoramic views. There is an open wood fire, a sofa bed, and a small flight of steps leading to -
• Mezzanine area - with Queen size bed and partly tiled shower room.

Additional single beds are available for up to two children, on request. Note - there is no kitchen.

Outside:

Set in tree-clad grounds you can enjoy the large private swimming pool (5m by 10m) with adjoining areas for sunbathing or just relaxing with a glass of local wine and a good book. There is a built-in barbecue that is on the main terrace leading off the living area of the villa.

Please note that the grounds are steep in places with stone steps leading from one area to another.

The solitary Mount Canigou is ever present, hinting at the picturesque roads winding their way through villages almost lost in time.

Road - A9 Motorway to the last exit (#43) in France.
Rail - Eurostar-from London to Perpignan Station, via Lille, taking approx. 10 hours
Air - Ryanair to Perpignan, Carcassonne or Gerona in Spain. Other carriers fly into Toulouse and Montpellier.
