Here at La Returais we have three 18th century stone farm Cottages and a traditional French farmhouse. All properties have been tastefully restored with huge stone fireplaces and oak beams. They all offer luxurious accommodation and are very well equipped. Nestled in 7acres of beautiful countryside near Gorron, in the department of Mayenne La Returais provides the perfect retreat.

About the location

La Returais is situated in the countryside near the town of Gorron. The area is very peaceful and ideal for cyclings, walking and just relaxing. The nearby village  has a local bar/shop - it also sells fishing permits and some fishing tackle as there are two lakes in Colombiers for public use.

The town of Gorron has a market on a wednesday morning and you will find a pizzeria, bar, two restaurants, a kebab bar and a creperie. There are several interesting shops in Gorron and a supermarket which is well stocked. There is a swimming pool, tennis courts, swin golf, climbing activities, canoeing and also a cinema. 

To drive to the coast takes just over an hour from La Returais.

How to get here

Specific details of how to find us will be supplied along with confirmation of your booking but for a general idea we are approximately 1 and 3/4 hours from Caen, 3 hours from Le Havre and 4 and a half hours from Dieppe. St Malo is just under 2 hours away from us and Dinard is 1 and a half.
