Surrounded by wonderful rolling Dordogne countryside and within only a few kilometres of the bastide town of Eymet and 15 min South of Bergerac, Le Roudier provides an oasis of peace and tranquillity in a truly magical corner of this beautiful department.

The 300 year old buildings of Le Roudier, previously a farmstead, stand in 15 acres of south facing countryside providing fantastic panoramic views from the Gîtes and terrace which surround the large heated pool. The old bakehouse adjoining the terrace has a summer kitchen, children's play area and TV room which offers a shady retreat from the midday sun. Swings and other outdoor toys stand on a safe surface just behind the bakehouse and for the more active minded, bicycles are provided at no extra cost.

The choice of Gîtes from a Studio for 2/4 people to the largest Gîte which sleeps 8 have been sympathetically renovated to a very high standard and retain much of the charm with original features. All have fully equipped kitchens with washing machine and dishwasher and satellite televisions in the living areas.

Each accommodation is completely self contained with its own entrance, terrace, barbecue, patio furniture and sun loungers. Included in the prices are bed linen, towels (changed weekly), gas, electricity and the pool amenities and games.

Le Roudier is an ideal holiday retreat for families and couples alike. The friendly family environment means you can be as sociable or private as you choose and our aim is to provide you with a stress free environment so that you can enjoy the delights of this fantastic area of France.

Long Winter lets available with optional onsite secure storage facility. Electric heating throughout.

About the location

Eymet, with a good range of shops is only 6 kilometres away although you can buy your morning croissants at Fonroque which is only 2 kilometres from Le Roudier.  There are many chateaux and bastide towns to visit and of course the famous vineyards of Bergerac, Monbazillac and St. Emillion are only a stones throw away.

How to get here

Bergerac airport (which is 15 mins away) is serviced by Stanstead, Southampton, Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, East Midlands, Gatwick, Leeds-Bradford, Edinburgh, Dublin  to mention but a few.  The main carriers are Ryanair and Flybe.
