Home description

Situated in a small gated 'domaine' on the ocean side of the coast road near Theoule, only 15km from Cannes and 35 minutes' drive from Nice airport, the villa is the ideal corner to get away from it all.

There is a 'boules' pitch and a large communal pool in the landscaped grounds, and the famous Miramar Beach Hotel with its gourmet restaurant is only a three minute walk away. Another five minutes takes you to the beach and marina at La Figueirette, which has a range of restaurants. The villa is also on the edge of the Esterel mountains with its magnificent walking and biking trails.

The nearest shops (and market) are only a five minute drive to Theoule, which also has a wonderful choice of restaurants and beaches.

All the main rooms have large terraces facing directly south to the sea.

The villa has been extensively renovated in recent years.

About the location

Close enough to make the most of Nice and Cannes but far enough to avoid the noise and bustle, this is a lovely spot to relax French-style. The house is very much 'pieds dans l'eau' with the deep blue ocean filling the view from all the main rooms. The nearest beach is just a few minutes' walk, as are the restaurants.

How to get here

• The closest airport is Nice, which is served by most international airlines, including EasyJet.
• The house is about 40 minutes' drive from Nice.
• There are train stations nearby at Le Trayas and Theoule with local trains along the coast from Marseilles to the Italian border.
• The fast TGV also stops at La Napoule (about 10 minutes by car) and Cannes (about 20 minutes).
