Le Gohic is a unique, privately-owned 17th century hamlet of beautiful, detached cottages nestling in the heart of the Blavet Valley, Morbihan, Southern Brittany.

Carefully renovated over the years to a very high standard, the hamlet retains all  its original charm and character and has its own special atmosphere, a wonderfully  peaceful place in which to relax and unwind, away from the stresses of modern life.

The five individual cottages are extremely comfortable and spacious, and fully equipped with everything you need for a carefree holiday.

All the cottages are detached (except for Le Puits) and each has its own private terrace and garden - ideal for small groups or individual families.

Le Gohic is also perfect for larger groups. With accommodation for up to 30 people, why not rent the whole hamlet? One of the cottages has a dining room which can be rearranged so everyone can enjoy eating together "en famillie".

The 11m x 7m  heated pool meets all the latest safety regulations, ensuring peace of mind for parents with children.

There are also plenty of open grassy spaces and woodland for children to play in without disturbing the other guests.

Le Gohic lies down a long private drive in a quiet and secluded spot amongst green rolling hills and lush wooded valleys. However, it is not at all isolated and there is an abundance of picturesque towns and villages close by.

The nearest bar is a leisurely stroll down the lane and the village of Quistinic with shops, bars and restaurants is only a couple of kilometres away. Baud, with supermarkets and banks, is an easy fifteen minute drive along empty country lanes.

Ground floor

• Kitchen - comes fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher
• Open plan sitting room - with big comfortable sofa and armchairs around the granite fireplace with woodburning stove. English satellite TV , DVD and video players and CD/radio/cassette player
• Dining area - seats 4 comfortably

First floor

• Bedroom 1 - with a double bed
• Bedrooms 2 - with twin beds
• Bathroom - has a bath/shower, handbasin and WC.

Good quality bed linen, pillows, duvets and towels are provided free of charge. Electric central heating throughout.

Outside

In the private garden, you will find outdoor furniture, parasol and barbecue.

About the location

Further inland, there are many historic towns, villages, castles to visit including Auray, Pontivy, Vannes, Josselin and Hennebont. Nearly every day of the week you will find a local market going on nearby - a great place to find the best local produce.

The megalithic stones of Carnac are well worth a visit and there are plenty of other attractions nearby including museums, parks and the zoo.

There is also a good choice of restaurants and bars in the area covering all tastes and price brackets. It goes without saying that the local food is excellent, especially the seafood! People come from miles around to the local creperie where you will always receive a warm and friendly welcome.
