Home description
Montreuil is a fortified market town ringed by ancient walled remparts looking out over picturesque countryside. It lies 45 minutes south of the Channel Tunnel and is 20 minutes from Le Touquet and glorious sandy beaches.
La maison Labedelo is on a quiet side street, two minutes walk from the market square and 100 metres from the nearest baker. A recent conversion of two 18th century storehouses, the house is light and spacious and has great charm and character. The property stands against a section of the original 12th century city wall that cuts, unseen, through the heart of town and the sunny garden contains one of the wall's watchtowers.
