Kerbrett Cottages are made up of two three bedroom cottages and a ground floor flat set in their own grounds. Situated in the quiet hamlet of La Mulotière, which is in the centre of Brittany, approximately 11 km from the medieval town of Josselin and 16km from Ploërmel.

La Mulotière is just 3km from the local village of Mohon with a bar, small supermarket, bolongerie, bank and hairdressers. Just 5km away is the village of Guilliers with all amenities, bars, restaurants, small shops, butchers, bakers and fuel.

The cottages are on a crossroads in a very quiet area where traffic is very infrequent. This is an ideal choice for those who wish to relax and recuperate in peace and quiet. It is also ideal for creating your own entertainment at barbecues and boules or just soaking in the treated, overland, inflated 15 ft pool. It is a peaceful situation overlooking, countryside and farmland and yet Josselin with its major supermarkets and Saturday market is only 8 minutes away. The area is very flat, ideal for those who enjoy cycling and nearby there is an off road cycle route following the river.

All the cottages can be interconnected or separate via doors with locks on both sides. There is the possibility for big groups to sleep 20 people using the futons in each of the three houses. This could be ideal for the extended family with gran and granddad in the flat or a group of golfers, wind surfers ( Lac Au Duc) or just a group of friends.

Each cottage has its own parking and patio area and there are further communal gardens with a large fenced off area for children to play safely.

This is a three bedroom end of terrace house. The house is entered via the kitchen. All rooms are carpeted with wardrobes and chests of drawers with bedside cabinets and lights.

Ground Floor:

• Kitchen/diner - farmhouse style, hob, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker log fire
• Living room - has exposed beams and a log burning fan assisted fire. Freeview satellite TV and DVD/CD player a video and some DVD's to watch. There is a futon, coffee table and two tub chairs.
• Shower room - with toilet, shower, bidet washing machine

First Floor:

(via a carpeted stairway)

• Bedroom 1 - with double bed
• Bedroom 2 - also with double bed
• Bedroom 3 - with bunk bed

About the location

Josselin is an extremely attractive medieval town complete with its own fairytale chateau on the Oust Brest canal. Plenty of photo opportunities are contained in this 'Petit Cité of Character'. It has many restaurants, coupled with restful cafes and bars overlooking the 'Basilica de Notre Dame' in the town square. Here you can enjoy pavement seating and during the summer months enjoy the many musical soirees on offer. A pleasant stroll along the Nantes/Brest canal provides you with spectacular views of the chateau well into the evening when it is magically lit and a frequent haunt of the artist trying to capture its beauty on canvas.

Ploërmel has all the major supermarkets, many restaurants and also has the 'Lac au Duc' is only 12 minutes away. Here there are pedaloes and other water activities, there is fishing and a children's play area. It has its very own sandy beach with a cordoned off safe swimming area. There is also a picturesque 9 hole golf course, where you are not rushed to the next hole.

Only 40 minutes drive from La Mulotiere is the Morbihan coastline. Plenty of wonderful beaches, coves and fishing ports are on offer here. There is many a Breton restaurant serving its world famous seafood. Carnac has the world heritage site of 3000 megaliths and scores of sandy beaches.

Vannes, hosting a twice-weekly market, is a busy bustling place offering the visitor much to see and do. Just meander along the portside and admire all the sailing vessels. Once again, you will find numerous cafes, bars and restaurants to while away an hour or two, after which you can stroll through the medieval streets and admire the architectural features on offer. A visit to the ramparts of the old walled city provides you with some lovely views of the colourful landscaped gardens below. There are some wonderful individual shops here offering many a tempting bargain to take back with you!
