Nestled on the borders of Normandy and the Pays de la Loire, this recently converted 100 year old farm with 7 acres of grounds has been renovated to a high standard and offers superb accommodation for between 2 - 6+ people.

Set in a pretty courtyard at the end of a quiet lane you will find the peace and relaxation you deserve as you enjoy the panoramic views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. There is plenty of room for the children to play or say hello to the ever growing number of animals. Maybe you will find a fresh egg for breakfast from one of the free-range chickens. Depending on the time of year you will be able to pick cherries, apples, peaches, pears, plums, walnuts or chestnuts.

The accommodation comprises:

The Gite (sleeps 2 - 6+)

• Kitchen/dining room - fully equipped modern kitchens including fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The dining table  has sufficient chairs for everyone and a high chair for our smaller guests.
• Living room area - is open plan, large and comfortable with original granite stone walls. There is a sofa with chairs to match, a sofa bed settee (for extra guests) Sat TV, DVD and Video with a good selection of films for all ages.
• Two bedrooms - well decorated and airy loft bedrooms, one double and one twin, each has room for a folding bed (suitable for children). 
• Bathroom - is bright and cheerful with a shower, w.c. and hand wash basin.

About the location

As you will discover there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. The property is ideally situated as a central base for touring. The North and West coasts and Le Mans are easily accessible as a day trip. There is a train service from Laval which takes you directly into DisneyLand Paris.

Why not visit the huge market at St Hilaire du Harcouet and pick up some of the wonderful French cheese and cider for lunch.

The small market towns of Gorron and Ambrières les Vallees are close by and you will find all your provisions at the supermarkets there.

A little further away is the Mont St Michel, which is a wonderful monastery built on a rock out at sea and well worthy of a day out!

St Fraimbault is just around the corner and is known as the village of flowers, if you visit in the summer you will soon understand why!

Lots of the local villages have fetes throughout the summer where you can mingle with the locals and enjoy the French way of life.
