About the location

The property lies some 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village of Cabrieres which boasts a super bar/restaurant, bakery, provisions shop and, one of the best 'Cave co-operatives' in the area.

The cave sells wonderful village wines at superb prices, its tasting area is something special and the villa owners are happy to assist you sampling the local wine.

The house is situated next to the "Mas Vigneron" at the edge of the village of Cabrieres. Surrounded by vines, the property is completed enclosed and private. The view of the garden and the surrounding hilltops from the pool is magnificent. On a clear day (which is practically every day) you can see the Mediterranean sea, and the Etang de Thau (a famous oyster and mussel farming lake), the summit of the Aigoual mountain (at 1500 m2), the plateau of Caroux, the Pyrennees, the Canigou and the Cap de Creus in Spain.

The Languedoc area of France is nature at its best, from the Camargue in the west to the eastern end of the Pyrenees. From the wild and lonely Causses to the sunny Mediterranean coast. Across highly scented garrigue and sun-soaked vineyards, there is an incomparable variety of scenery and fascinating towns and villages to discover.

How to get here

 Mas du Vigneron is situated in the village of Cabrieres which is north of Pezenas between Beziers and Montpellier.  Access by the A9 or A75 autoroutes or by air via Montpellier, Carcassonne, Perpignan Nimes or Beziers airports. The nearest rail link is Montpellier or Sete.
