The picturesque village of St Jeannet is between Vence and Nice, 15 km from the beaches of the Cote d'Azur. Its 3500 inhabitants live at the foot of the impressive 200 meter Baou (rock cliff) of St Jeannet with its vineyards and orchards.

The villa is nicely furnished and well equipped with full oven, 4 cooking rings, a large fridge, a freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, television, and all you need for an enjoyable holiday.

Outside

there is a shady patio with garden table and chairs giving onto the garden and there is a covered car port as well as room for other cars.

About the location

This simple but comfortable Provençale villa is situated in quiet countryside just 400 meters walk away from shops where there is a small supermarket, bank and bakers as well as a recommendable (and reasonable) bar restaurant.

The old village itself, at 400 meters altitude, has picturesque narrow streets and fountains and enjoys a magnificent panoramic view of the coast. It has attracted many painters, poets and writers (Dufy, Trachel, Poussin, Prévert ...), fascinated by the beauty of the site.

How to get here

By air

Nice airport is just 15 minutes away and is served by BA, British Midland and Easy Jet. Easy Jet operate from Luton, Gatwick and Bristol and are often the cheapest choice.

By train

It is about half way between the main stations of Nice and Antibes.

By car

From the A8 autoroute take the exit for St Laurent du Var and it is only few kilometers to St Jeannet.

In all cases, the owners will supply you with full directions and exchange mobile phone numbers, in case!
