Guest Reviews Of Family Suite 2 bedrooms En-suite

What a great place to stay. We stayed for one week and as soon as I arrived I knew we made a great choice, Angie and Steve very welcoming. Room was excellent and maintained every day. We had a little 2 year old boy with us and the room was ideal, nice and big and cot supplied. Door led out to garden with own table and chairs. Pool was great and there is an orchard you can play a game of badminton and boules or chill with a book and glass of wine. I would highly recommend La Vieille Cure. You can have evening meals there and we had 3 dinners during the week amazing food and wine. They also have a little summer kitchen were you can prepare lunches which was a brilliant idea. We will be back again !!!

Our family of five stayed here, two adults, two teenagers and a ten year old in the enormous family suite, everybody loved it. It is right beside the friendly village of Couhe, two minutes walk from the shops and pub.

The owners, Steve and Angie couldn't have been more helpful, they suggested many lovely day trips and directed us to the Martyr village, a French town, overrun by the Germans at the end of WW2, killing every inhabitant. This has been preserved exactly as it was and was a very moving experience. We would not have found it if it was not for Steve.

Angie is a wonderful chef and we ate with them every night, a  very relaxed affair where we met other guests to chat and swap travel tips.

The lovely garden and pool was a great place for my little boy to let off steam. Games room was a bonus as was the outdoor kitchen which made it easy to create snacks and chill a bottle of wine.
Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked a return stay next June.

My only problem is, now the word is out about this great place, I may not be able to find a room, the next trip!
