A mountain village high (1850m) in the Savoie Alps, 30 miles NE of Modane. Apartment is 50 sq m with 3 main rooms, plus kitchen, bathroom, separate WC. South balcony with view of piste. Chairlift 50m away, linking to 3000m. Skiing excellent for all standards, cheaper lift pass, other centres within reach. Creche, ski-school, hire of all equipment, snow till late April. Restaurants, supermarket, and village services all on the doorstep.

The apartment is in the middle of the 3-storey building. The first two rooms listed open by French windows onto a south-facing balcony (4' x 19') with an extensive mountain view including the ski piste from slopes above.

• Bedroom 1 (14' x 9') Double bed. Opens to balcony
• Living Room (14' x 9') double sofabed + pine table and benches. Opens to balcony.
• 'Couchage montagne' (13' x 8') with four bunk beds.
• Kitchen (9' x 8'6") hob and oven, sink, dishwasher, fridge-freezer.
• Bathroom Bath with shower. Basin. Bidet.
• Separate W.C.
• Total floor area 50 sq m plus balcony.

About the location

Hire of all equipment, ski school, restaurants, Sherpa supermarket, butcher, baker, dairy, creche and day nursery, information centre etc., are all close at hand.

How to get here

There are motorways from the Channel coast till a few miles short of MODANE (9 hrs driving). From there Bonneval lies 30 miles further up the valley of the Arc. In summer ONLY one can approach via Val d'Isere from Chambery, Annecy or Chamonix. Nearest major airports are Turin (Frejus tunnel from Italy), Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon. Hire a car or take a train to Modane, followed by the local bus. Alternatively, T.G.V. trains, or an overnight sleeper, provide a direct connection to Modane from Paris.
