Nestled in the heart of the countryside and set in their own grounds, these 2 inter-connecting houses, dating from the 1800s, offer flexible and modern accommodation. Les Chênes is ideally situated for visits to Limoges, renowned for its porcelain, the chateaux of the Loire Valley and Cognac where the brandy houses welcome you.

La Rochelle with its working harbour, shops and many seafood restaurants, and the historic cities of Poitiers, Niort and Angouleme, are all within easy reach. The local towns of Sauzé Vaussais and Lezay have shops, banks and restaurants and busy weekly markets, giving you a true taste of France.

The property is an easy day's drive from the channel ports and a comfortable drive of less than 4 hours from Paris. The gastronomic delights of this region and the wonderful sunshine record make this area attractive at all times of the year.

By car - you take the A10 Motorway to Poitiers then the N10 in the direction of Ruffec. Take the D948 exit in the direction of Sauze Vaussais.

By rail - the TGV services link Ruffec & Poitiers via Paris or Lille to London Waterloo

Ryanair offers low cost connections to Poitiers or Limoges. Local directions will be provided when booking.
