House located in an island of Créteil, 15 min away from Paris
The house is situated in a wonderful position on the River Marne, 7 miles SE of Notre-Dame, close to shops and transport.
This character house is set on the island of Créteil (Val de Marne), and has very easy access to Paris and Eurodisney (buses, metro, RER). Ideally placed to rest after visits to Paris and Eurodisney. Swans and ducks come in the garden to rest too! The house is pleasantly decorated, has antiques and is very comfortable.

Bill’s house was lovely and ever so peaceful. We loved it all and hope to come again : the boat, the river, the garden, the atmosphere and every thing about the house. It was possibly the best holidays we ever spent !! We went to Disneyland and the Tour Eiffel which were only 30 minutes away. We loved every moment we spent into your house and will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Our family of 5 loved our week's stay at Bill's house. The owner, Helene was very kind and welcoming and thoughtfully supplied groceries for us as we arrived on New Year's day. The house was warm and very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the short walk to the local shops and the village atmosphere. Paris was an easy commute on the train. But it was lovely to come home to Bill's house and paddle around in the boat and build snowmen in the garden! We want to come back in summer time to spend more time enjoying the beautiful setting on the river. Highly recommended.

My family of 4 (with my daughter in a wheelchair) had a fantastic stay at Bill’s house in June 2009. The home is comfortable and Helene and William are wonderful hosts. We walked every day to the local rail station where we caught the train to Paris, Eurodisney and Palace of Versailles, all very easy and accessible. Enjoying the local village, the ducks and the row boat added to our beautiful experience. I would highly recommend anyone looking for accommodation to stay at “Bills House”.

I stayed at Bill's House with my wife and our two children in 2006 for two weeks and was so impressed that when we returned to Paris in 2009 we had no hesitation in booking again.
The house is in a lovely setting next to the river, we frequently sat at the end of the garden with a drink or our meal just watching the river flow by. The thing I liked about the house is that it had a lot of character, some places I have stayed are so obviously just a business, this house felt like it was somebody's home that they had moved out of to let us stay in for a couple of weeks.
Whilst the old town of Creteil is less than 10 minutes walk away over the bridge, I would recommend having a car to anyone visiting. The train station is about 20 minutes drive and the rail journey into Paris is about the same, so including parking and waiting for the train you can be in the centre of Paris in about an hour. From the house to Disney is about 45mins to 60mins drive depending on when you travel.
I found Bill's house an ideal place to unwind after a hectic day around Paris or Eurodisney and I have no hesitation in recommending it.
